Lee Ryan je jedním z členů chlapecké skupiny Blue. Dalšími členy skupiny jsou Duncan James, Antony Costa a Simon Webbe. Se svojí snoubenkou Sammathou Miller přivítali 4. prosince 2008 svého prvního potomka. Pojmenovali ho Rain Amethyst.
