V deseti letech začal s klavírem, ve třinácti letech se připojil ke skupině Viper, se kterou debutoval 8. dubna 1985. Zastával post zpěváka (prý proto, že zpíval nejméně špatně ze všech členů skupiny) a jeho parketou byly také klávesové nástroje...
