Mark Medlock zvítězil 05. května 2007 ve 4. kole „Deutschland sucht den Superstar“. Suveréně zvítězil ve všech kategoriích, v jednotlivé soutěži, mezi nejlepšími 20-ti a rovněž v motto-soutěži. Toto se před ním ještě nikomu nepodařilo.
